“Probably the easiest way I’ve found to prep a whole batch.”

I usually make 6–8 burgers when the kids come over, so doing every patty by hand gets old pretty fast. I made four with this the first time just to try it and they came out surprisingly even. The divider sheets are a nice touch because the patties don’t end up mashed together in one big stack. I’ve already used it a few weekends in a row.

“Really good for turkey burgers.”

I make ground turkey burgers with chopped bell pepper and onion pretty often. Turkey is softer and stickier than beef, so I put one of the round sheets between each patty and they come apart much easier. I usually make a batch, chill them first, then cook what we need during the week. The consistent size is probably my favorite part.

“Good little system — I just wish the plastic felt heavier.”

Functionally this does exactly what I wanted. I can make several patties at once, keep them separated, and freeze them for later. My only complaint is that the lifting pieces feel lighter than I expected, so I’m a little careful with them. That said, I’ve used it quite a few times already and nothing has broken. For burger prep itself, it works really well.

“I make them ahead and freeze what we don’t use.”

I usually buy ground beef in the larger packs, so this makes more sense for me than forming two burgers and leaving the rest of the meat sitting around. I portion everything at once, separate the patties, and freeze the extras. They keep their shape much better than the random hand-formed ones I used to make. Simple product, but genuinely useful.
